Rainy day go away come again some other day. Famous nursery rhyme we all know. So what do we do on those rainy and now snowy days that won’t go away. We bake cookies! What better way to celebrate the cold then to warm up your home with the smells of fresh baked goodies. Goodies for your hubby and your neighbors too. We love the smells because it reminds us of home. Mom’s love. Her devotion to making everything good. Go moms everywhere…make cookies for your loved ones. This is the season to spread some cheer. Some love for all those we love…because God loved us.

Sometimes all you need is a pat.

A gentle pat on the back.

Letting you know you are doing alright.

Letting you know you are just fine.

Letting you know to keep going.

Letting you know intimately.

Sometimes from a friend.

An alright pat.

Sometimes from a kin.

A fine pat.

Sometimes from a buddy.

A keep-on pat.

Other times from your better half.

A dear pat.

Most times only needed from One.

Inspiring can be indefinite, legacy.

Exciting may motivate.

Inspiring should aspire.

If exciting is most likely incidental,

then inspiring must be transcendental.

If exciting causes you to do,

then inspiring causes you to be.

If exciting is emotional,

then inspiring must be transformational.

If exciting is eventful + occasional,

then inspiring is enduring + long suffering.

Inspired.

We live in a constant tension of wanting to be somewhere else.

We love that the grass is greener on the other side where we’d like to be.

May be one of the reasons Jesus said for us to be in the world is to sit and stay.

Maybe that’s why we long.

We long to live in communes.

We long to be in missions.

We long to be full timers.

We long to be in ministry.

To be drawn close.

To be closer.

To be at the next best thing is better than not being right There.

Maybe we long since we were made to long for more.

To long for Hope.

To long for a new Home.

To long to be Clothed.

To long for the original Plan.

To long for the Good.

So we live in that constant tension.
